About

This article helps to explain why you can't see some manga in Manga Rock such as Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece, and how to access them on iOS and Android.

A. For iOS

B. For Android Definitive and Play Store

For iOS

If you stay in the following countries: US, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Germany, Switzerland, France

Many of these manga in Manga Rock belong to their respective local publishers, especially Viz Media who hold the largest number of licensed manga now. In 2017, Viz Media has expanded their license coverage including more countries in Latin America and Europe.

These publishers have asked us to remove their licensed manga from Manga Rock. In this case, we have no choice but to remove these them. Otherwise, we risk Manga Rock being removed by Apple for copyright violations.

If you stay outside the above countries

By right, you should be able to see all the popular manga as shown in manga source. If you still can't see them, please follow these steps below to get them back:

Step 1: Turn off all VPN tools (open Settings on iOS devices - tap on General - choose VPN & delete profile). Remember to use your own IP address when using Manga Rock.

Step 2: Open Manga Rock > Account tab > Advanced Settings > Reset Catalog
After resetting catalog, you will be able to see these manga.

For Android Definitive and Play Store

If you can't see a manga in Manga Rock, it is mostly because of licensing issue. Local publishers contact us to remove their copyrighted content and we have no choice but comply with them.

If you can't see a manga in other languages beside English, please note that the Play Store version of Manga Rock now only contains one English source. This is due to the fact that we were previously removed from the Play Store due to objectionable content appearing in our app coming from other sources in other languages. After a long time appealing with the Play Store review board, we were able to get the app back on store, but we are forced to only use one source so we can reduce the risk of the app being removed from the store.

However, for Android users, we have the official Definitive version hosted on our website, which will give you access to all these manga, in multiple languages.

Please install the Definitive Version of Manga Rock Android to avoid any potential issue with licensed manga.

Step 1: Go to your device settings > Security > Turn ON "Install from unknown source"

Step 2: Go to our website and download the APK.

Step 3: Install the app

Step 4 (optional): Restore your data from backup on Manga Rock Cloud
