In the latest beta version, Android 3.9 and iOS 4.9, you will be able to try our exclusive feature, Data Sync, for free.
What is Data Sync?
Data Sync will replace the options for Backup & Restore. This feature helps you automatically sync your data across platforms (both the website and the app) and devices by uploading it to the cloud.
Which data gets synced?
If you are using multiple devices and platforms, when Data Sync is active, your Favorites, Recents, Reading Progress and Setting preferences will be automatically synced the moment you open Manga Rock.
Your Favorite titles will be synced across devices, unless they have been licensed (i.e. syncing from Definitive to iOS).
Only Favorites from the Manga Rock source will be synced to the Manga Rock website.
Titles that you have recently read will be synced. Up to 100 titles from the Manga Rock source and 100 titles from all external sources will be synced, allowing you to pick up reading at where you have left off in the most convenient way.
- Reading Progress
Read/unread status of your chapters will be synced.
- Settings preferences
We sync your settings across devices, including notification and viewer settings, so you get a consistent reading experience everywhere. If you use a tablet, we'll sync some settings just for your tablet, too. Here's the full list.
- During the beta phase, data will only be synced among beta apps and the website.
- When Data Sync is active, Backup function will be disabled.
